Dabur India Ltd’s pure-play beauty retail venture NewU today announced the launch of Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic beauty brand Spice Island in India. This marks the Indian entry of Spice Island, which will be available exclusively at NewU outlets across the country.
NewU, an excellence retail wander by homegrown FMCG major Dabur, is bringing Sri Lankan Ayurvedic magnificence brand Spice Island to India to reinforce its portfolio. Spice Island, which will be retailed only at NewU outlets, will have a scope of premium healthy skin, shower and body care, and hair care products.
NewU Chief Operating Officer Vijay Shanker was cited by PTI as saying: “We are certain that the Spice Island range will meet the desires of the cutting edge customer and further build up NewU as the favored destination for all beauty care needs of the Indian consumer.”
The eminent Sri Lankan brand will help individuals re-associate with Ayurvedic methods for healthy skin and mending, he included.
The Spice Island range will incorporate shampoos, body butter, day cream, night cream, shower gels and body moisturizer estimated in the scope of Rs 649 to Rs 1,399.
NewU intends to grow the Spice Island range to host of other magnificence items, for example, face wash, the organization said.
This is the second universal brand to be presented by NewU, which directly works more than 70 stores in India.
Before this, NewU had propelled Jaquline USA in India with a scope of Nail Care and Nail Styling product range.
NewU stores are way of life retail stores under the organization name of H&B Stores Ltd, which is a 100 per cent subsidiary of Dabur India.
