Plan is to influence them to fully train for jobs in territories fields like Information Technology , banking, Insurance and financial services.
NIIT Ltd., an education and training institute, will prepare 20,000 youth from the southern part of India in three years in its territories, IT, banking and financial services and insurance (BFSI) under Talent Pipeline as a Service (TPaaS), said a top official.
“The pilot phase, started some nine months back, is over,” said Sapnesh Lalla, chief executive officer, NIIT Ltd. “This is part of our programme to train one lakh youth in three years for aspirational career opportunities in leading corporates.”
Over the most recent nine months, NIIT had tied-up with 10 corporates and prepared around 4,000 youth all inclusive. Mr. Lalla radiated certainty that they would have the capacity to prepare one lakh youth in three years through this activity.
He said the course term ran between three weeks and four months.
“TPaaS is our endeavor to distinguish and prepare the best Just-in-Time work prepared ability for the rising parts in associations, to keep pace with the present quick changing and uncertain business environment.
“Leading banks, BFSI companies and tier-I IT services companies will be serviced under this initiative during the initial phase. Students opting for career under TPaaS are assured of placement with leading corporates on the successful completion of the programme,” he said.
