Jubilant FoodWorks will also sell Lipton Ice Tea, which is a joint venture between PepsiCo and Unilever, across all Domino’s restaurants in India.

Jubliant FoodWorks on Tuesday said it has marked PepsiCo as its new beverage partner for Domino’s Pizza business in India supplanting a 20 years association with Coke.

Jubliant FoodWorks, which also manages and operates Dunkin’ Donuts chain in India, will now offer the whole arrangement of carbonated drinks of PepsiCo – Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7Up, and Mirinda, the organization said in an announcement.

Also, it will offer Lipton Ice Tea, or, in other words adventure among PepsiCo and Unilever, over the entirety of Domino’s food chains in India.

“The partnership will bring in fresh focus on our beverage portfolio. We look forward to offering greater beverage variety and thereby enhancing the Domino’s Pizza experience for our guests,” Jubilant FoodWorks CEO Pratik Pota said.

Jubliant FoodWorks, part of Jubilant Bhartia , operates a network of 1,167 Domino’s Pizza food chains in 269 urban towns and cities. Other than India, it along with its subsidiary have the exclusive rights to develop and operate Domino’s Pizza brand in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

“We have appreciated a solid association with Coca-Cola India in the course of the most recent 20 years, JFL representative said in a press release. “As we look to build our business for the next phase of growth, we have initiated a process to look at various options and identify the right beverage partner who can help strengthen our beverage portfolio and drive growth.”

The Michigan based largest quick service restaurant chain, with a global footprint in 85 countries and 1,144 stores in India, also serves PepsiCo brands in Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia, the report said.

Jubliant foodworks competitors Yum! Brands that handles and operates Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell have for some time been in partnership with the PepsiCo mark, while McDonald has had a long partnership with Coca-Cola, the report included.

“This partnership further strengthens our position in the food service segment in India and consumers can look forward to some exciting new experiences,” PepsiCo India President & CEO Ahmed ElSheikh said.

Jubliant Foodworks also operates 32 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across 10 cities as of September 30, 2018.
