Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, has joined hands with Mphasis, an IT service provider, to support early-stage ventures.
The program expects to incubate and support profit and revenue driven social ventures and comprises start-ups that have been in task for one to three years. The program’s focus is on helping start-ups build financially sustainable and scalable models working in the education, livelihood and disability space.
The program got 550 + applications from social ventures out of which 16 promising ventures were chosen to experience a three-month pre-incubation program. Following the pre-incubation period, shortlisted ventures was given a chance to pitch before a warning chamber for choice in the hatching program which will be for a time of 12-year and a half. Chosen endeavors incorporate TAXSHE Services Private Limited, ECONUT Coconut Producer Company Limited, Blink Research and Services Private Limited, ThinkZone and Rural Caravan Private Limited.
